Need help installing Rachio 2nd gen (hunter pro c) - support - Speakme of the app - since it appears you have got a master valve (or pump), don't forget to allow that setting whilst you configure your new controller (from the dashboard display screen > device settings > advanced > grasp valve toggle). The rain sensor wires are plugged into s1 and sc, even though i don’t recognise which twine have to go in which plug, so for now i guessed…does it remember which of the rain sensor wires cross in s1 or sc? And sorry i don’t realize the make/version. I exploit each. Rachio cant help micro climate or just horrific weather records…so i found an outside rain sensor to be very useful. I have an ifttt recipe to journey a 24 hour digital rain sensor upon physcial rain sensor activation to offer rachio time to catch up to the actual percip facts which readjusts my flex agenda for day after today (properly 2 days out) but my rain sensor journeys at .25 inch that's sufficient tto get my turf through 2 days.
Does it depend which of the rain sensor wires move in s1 or sc? And sorry i don’t recognise the make/version. I’ll try to discover it whilst i get home. It never seemed to work on my vintage gadget anyhow, it'd be sprinklers on in the course of rain all of the time - so i’m no longer too worried about it. Only for future reference in case any individual else runs into this, my unit had wires going to ac1 & ac2 (and one for rem). One set came from the electricity adapter and the second one went outdoor to an outside enlargement/control port. I simply left 2d/outside port wires disconnected when i mounted the rachio. Pour a cup of water into the rain sensor. Do it very slowly as some require a substrate to absorb the water. Then verify that the rain sensor is,tripped. That is what i did.
Thanks a lot - i got the whole lot up and jogging the day past. I've each of the white com wires now going into separate c plugs on the left (1-8 area) facet. The rain sensor wires are plugged into s1 and sc, though i don’t understand which cord ought to move in which plug, so for now i guessed. I grew to become on the rain sensor in the app and went via the zone setups - all working great. Alas some of the rotor heads appear damaged - i.E. Water shooting out of the bottom, however that’s a separate difficulty that’ll be constant via a service this weekend.
